Manastirski livadi
Manastirski Livadi Quarter prospects well among the quarters on the outskirts of the capital. It is situated in the southwest part of Sofia. To the west, it borders Bratya Buckston Blvd., to the northeast and east - Todor Kableshkov Str., to the southeast - Srebarna Str., and to the south it is connected with the Ring Road. In the past the urban development plan provided for low-storey holiday buildings but nowadays the construction works in this quarter are going at a fast pace. The new apartment houses and luxury residential gated type complexes are preferred choices for investment and living. Most actively built up are the areas between the Bratya Buckston Blvd. and Bulgaria Blvd. - the two major boulevards connecting the quarter with the centre of the city. This is the region of Manastirski Livadi - West. Unfortunately, the quarter still does not have a well-developed infrastructure, but it is expected that the serious investors and construction companies building in the region will solve this problem in cooperation with Sofia Municipality. Almost all buildings and blocks in the quarter have central gas supply. There are still no schools, kindergartens and public institutions in the Manastirski Livadi Quarter but its residents could use the facilities of the neighboring quarters - Borovo, Buckston and Gotze Delchev.Near the quarter there is a chain hypermarket BILLA situated at the crossroads of Bulgaria Blvd. and Todor Kableshkov Str. The Borovo market place is also nearby. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: The residents and guests of the quarter could use bus, trolley and tram transportation which passes along the periphery of the quarter. These are: tram No. 7 along Bulgaria Blvd., trolley No. 2 along Bratya Buckston Blvd., No. 8, passing along Todor Kableshkov Str., and busses No. 73, No. 74 and No. 76 also passing along Todor Kableshkov Str.
